On day one, in any company, we’re hungry, agile, committed, energetic and driven to succeed. As businesses get on, they get weighed down by dogma, learned history, inefficient practices and clunky workflow.

There is a better way. Be clear about why you do what you do, when you do it and how you do it. If you measure your progress, you leave room for improvement; you’ll know when you’ve hit your goal or what to do to adapt and get back on track.

That’s why I love new people in our industry, they have such inquisitive minds, and they continually challenge us by asking one simple question – why? Why do we do that? Why do we do it like that?
